of its 113kW (154hp) Midliner premium 7.5-tonner. The Midliner artic is derived from a normal S08-150 rigid chassis converted by the factory to a 2,498nun wheelbase tractor plated for operations up to 17 tonnes GCW. It has an unladen fifth-wheel height of 1,009min and RTI quotes a kerbweight, ready for the road, of 3,425kg.
RTI will soon begin evaluation trials with the prototype vehicle. The urban Midliner is intended primarily for inner-city distribution work. The prototype vehicle was shown last week at RTI's Elmdon Parts Centre.
