Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

One of our vehicles is a BSeries eight-wheel rigid, and ;arlier in the year the gear lever )roke. In order to get the vehicle )ack on the road we welded the jeer lever and then set about rying to get a replacement. \fter trying for six weeks we Jaye it up as a bad job and made i gear lever ourselves.

At present this vehicle is in ieliance Garage, Brighouse (the nein Yorkshire ERF dealers) vaiting for new power-steering )arts and an engine mounting. The vehicle has been at Brig louse for a full week and there ire still no parts available hroughout the country, so you an imagine what damage this is loing to our small firm.

You would think when we are Inly 40 miles from the main 'orkshire stockists, 15 miles 'am T.G.B. Motors, Clitheroe :he main Lancashire stockist) nd 80 miles from Middlewich, le main suppliers, we would aye no difficulty in getting eplacement parts for our ehicles, but the availability of pare parts by return is nil.

This last year ERF spent iousands of pounds on their Trail Blazer' compaign to prolote the sale of their vehicles. his money would have been etter spent on improving their her-sales service.

When the day comes when Du can pick up the telephone

nd obtain replacement parts nmediately, then is the time at ERF should run that adversement.
