Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

EARLY foreign reaction to the Commercial Motor Show at NEC for the organisers. first International Car and was more than encouraging Peter Balmer from Ulm in West Germany described it as the best show in the world. He claimed qualified to express this opinion after having visited similar shows in America, Australia and throughout Europe.

His opinion was shared on a modified scale by Dick Bergeren from Holland who was of the opinion it was the best yet to be held in Europe.

Another Dutch visitor however, H. Oldenkamp, had reservations. He was concerned that the commercial motor sector would be submerged by the car sector but hoped that the commercial vehicle manufacturers would take the opportunity to tell the general public "a good publicity story throughout the show."

K. Kunz of Mercedes-Benz re-affirmed his company's intention to make the show a platform for pro-lorry publicity.

And S. A. Olsen of Volvo took the same line when he suggested that much public education could be done if national newspapers took the time to visit the commercial vehicle hall.

The air of optimism expressed by these foreign visitors was shared by others from France, Belgium and Sweden.
