THE ROAD Haulage Association's controversial stand at the Motor Show has proved to be highly successful and after three days it had recruited 25 new members, including two who paid their subscriptions in cash.
A spokesman told CM that at one point the RHA had been forced to put up a barrier on the stand to ensure that people surging on to the stand circulated. "We are highly encouraged by the response," he said.
