Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

RUBERY Owen-Rockwell Ltd has introduced a new Series III Q-cam brake for trailer axles. It is exhibited for the first time in Europe at the NEC.

With dimensions of 419 x 178mm (16.5 x 7in), the Q-cam brake is so called because of the cam's profile, which is claimed by ROR to offer major benefits over the existing Series II S-cam.

These benefits include quicker brake relining because of the redesigned location of the shoes, which permits the shoes to be released when the pull-off springs are removed.

The shoes themselves are said to be of a new design and are retained against the cam rollers by a second spring.

The Q-cam brake has been in use in the USA already, where it is said to be successful.
