NEXT Monday, October 30, the West Midland Maintenance Advisory Committee is holding an open meeting on topical matters of value to goods vehicles operators.
The TRTA assistant secretary, Mr. G. Turvey, will give a paper on brakes, plating and testing and there will be a panel to answer maintenance questions. Panel members are: Mr. R. W. Bent and Mr. R. G. Lewis, area mechanical engineers of the MoT; Mr. J. Castle, chairman of the RHA highways and vehicles committee; and Mr. Alan Havard, assistant director of freight planning, THC.
The meeting is at the Station Hotel, 32 Castle Hill, Dudley.
