Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Siemens VDO

Pedal Interlace is an electronic road and engine speed limiter that provides a range of engine-speed functions for vehicles with electronically controlled drive-by-wire powerplants. Features include maximum roadspeed limiting, maximum rpm limiting and a 'Foot on Cruise function with four set, intermediate speeds.

The four rpm settings also have two variable-speed controllers. The retrofit electronic control device is installed between the pedal unit or pedal value sensor and the engine control unit. It influences engine management by electronically modifying the position signal received from the pedal unii. Contact www.vdo.com
