A CALL to simplify European traffic regulations and more uniformity of rules has come from the Automobile Association. The AA claims that many drivers are confused by the changes in regulations as they move from one EEC country to another and it is a signatory to a letter from European motoring organisations to European Commission president Roy Jenkins on the rules.
Progress to the full integration of rules or the abolition of differences in rules. The AA says that the reasons for the continuation of unnecessary rules are often hard to understand.
