KEITH Nicol (26), who formerly worked at the haulage firm of his father, William Nicol in Aberdeen, has formed his own company — Keith Nicol Motors (Aberdeen) Ltd.
He has been trading since March in temporary premises,. but has now taken over the former premises of Inverdon Transport in the city's Whytemyres Avenue as part of a planned E200,000 investment.
They will be developing their recently-acquired agency for sales and service of DAF commercial vehicles.
This is the first agency in the North for DAF, and will cover the whole of the North. This will include Orkney and Shetland.
Mr Nicol is starting with a staff of three mechanics, a parts manager due to start soon and expects to have the bulk of his new premises at Mastrick in use later in the year.
