Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• A West Yorkshire haulier claims that he is owed around £15,000 by logistics firm TOG for work dating back to last April.

Colin Wormall, owner of Pontefract-based C&M Haulage says that he has worked on a number of TDG contracts, including Kimberley Clarke, and has always been paid regularly.

However, he has only received a reduced payment for work on its Wrexham Glass contract: "I have worked for TDG for three years, and if we have any queries with missing jobs or underpayments, they are normally sorted out with one phone call. But on this contract, we have phoned again and again and not got anywhere. We will be seeking legal advice."

A spokesman for TDG says that C&M Haulage failed to present the customer's proof of delivery for the contract with the invoices. However, C&M says that TOG selfinvoices, and that it handles all its other billing to TOG in an identical manner.
