LONDON Transport's financia traumas are being shared by Co ras lompair Eireann, which faced with the effects of an Irisi election pledge to freeze Dub lin's transport fares.

But CIE is already set to los( IRE94m (E76m) this year, even fares throughout Ireland go L4 by 10 per cent, and the Gregory package could add IRE2.9m tc the deficit if it applies to Dublir only. If fares throughout Irelanc are frozen, the bill will rise tc 1R£6.5m.
