A Lancashire Bus Absorption.

The business of motor omnibus proprietors,, carried on by Messrs. H. and J. Tetlow, The Garage, Elixton, Man

chester, has been taken over by the North Western Road Car Co., Ltd., which operates services in the Man

chester district. The firm's services were purely local ones and pioneer operations were commenced over three

years ago with a 16-seater Berliet bus. At the time that the business of Messrs. Tetlow was acquired, they were running three Associated Daimler and three Leyland 26-seater and 30-seater motorbuses. The transaction does not include the company's work in connection with private saloon coaches, which will still be carried on in conjunction with the ordinary garage work. In this connection, we understand a new Leyland Lioness Pullman saloon is due for delivery in time for Easter and another of the same type follows at a later date.
