The Road Haulage Association is about to start mobilising opposition to plans for congestion charging in the centre of Edinburgh.
Regional director Phil Flanders says letters about the charge—which could cost hauliers £2 for every trip into the city—will be sent to members throughout Scotland.
"We must inform Edinburgh City Council that hauliers and the RHA want to be classified as essential users in the congestion charging debate," he explains.
