• Mr. F. J. Lennon, of Leeds, had six vehicles removed from his B licence when he appeared at a Section 174 inquiry in Leeds on Tuesday. The application for a continuation of his B licence for eight vehicles was heard by the Yorkshire deputy LA, Mr. M. Gosnay.
Mr. Gosnay granted two specified vehicles only, but instructed that a further application could be made in three months' time. A fleet inspection must be carried out before any grant is made, he said, with no increase in vehicles during the next three months.
