• Spalding UK's Truecraft 12V anti-surge power protection system is designed for use with workshop tools and equipment. It attaches via crocodile clips to the vehicle battery and absorbs the heavy electrical pulses that can cause overloads. Welding repairs can be carried out safely without haying to disconnect complicated electrics.
The Lincoln-based firm is also offering a full-face, powered respirator which is said to be useful for working in grainstores or other simi
larly restrictive areas. Filtered air flows over the face and the battery pack lasts for four hours.
