• Brooklands Museum is hosting the first ever gathering of classic and vintage airfield vehicles on its 30-acre site in Weybridge, Surrey, on October 8. Brooklands was Britain's first permanent aerodrome when it was set up in 1910. Organisers of the show are hoping to attract a wide range of vehicles including airfield fire engines and crash tenders, aircraft refuellers, cranes, delivery and supply trucks as well as other ground support vehicles.
