Misitors to the People's Republic of China may soon be faced with the unusual sight in those parts of lorries bearing the TNT logo. TNT Logistics (China) is being developed to take advantage, says TNT, of the burgeoning demand for "logistics solutions" (haulage to you and p by the many European and American companies now trading from China. To add to offices in Hong Kong and Shangai, TNT bases are being set up in Beijing, Guanchou and Chendu. To illustrate this story, TNT sent the Hawk a picture of Chinese formation cycling in a typical street— kind of a before without the after. The company says it intends to develop its Chinese and central Asian operations "aggressively".
