TIPHOOK, the group which includes Central Trailer Rental, went ahead with its belated Stock Exchange listing last week.
The container rental and manufacture-to-trailer rental group planned to seek a listing last month, but poor trading conditions prompted a. last-minute delay (CM, July 6).
Now, Barclays Merchant Bank is offering 5.5m shares in the group at 110p each to raise £4.35m in new money for the group.
Central Trailers, which aims to expand its 1,770 vehicle fleet at a rate of 400 trailers a year, has been in the Tiphook group for three years and is Britain's fourth largest trailer hire company after Rentco, Trailerent and Transport International Pool. It has depots at Edinburgh, Liverpool, Manchester, Ipswich and London.
