The theft happened between midnight and 4am on 17 January while the truck, which has a yellow cab, was parked on the westbound carriageway between J2 and the M6 interchange.
Thames Valley police arc reporting a series of truck breakins on the A34 between Abingdon and the M40 — intelligence suggests that the criminals are coming down the motorway from the north and targeting vehicles which are parked up in lay-bys overnight. They are having curtains slashed and trailer doors forced open to steal property.
