Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE CM Special Offer homestudy course for the Certificate of Professional Competence in Road Haulage (international) is now available to students; the next International exam is on March 5.

There will be four more exams this year, in May, June, October and December.

Holders of National operators' licences are unable to embark on international journeys until they hold an International licence. Newcomers to the industry must remember that to work abroad they must hold both National and International operators' licences.

This current CM Special Offer is made in conjunction with Road Transport Correspondence Courses of Chertsey, Surrey. Each student is allocated to one of two experienced tutors — Eddie Pargeter and Frank Lewsey (Witney 3481), who may be phoned for advice and guidance if there are any problems.

The course is issued in two modules divided into sections, with self assessment questions at the end of each section. Two mock examinations are included which should be answered and returned to the course tutor for marking.

The course is shorter than the National course and the International examination comprises 30 questions compared to 60 questions in the National examination, but this is offset to some extent by the complexity of the subject matter.
