NEW TOLLS for the Dartford Tunnel have been approved by Junior Transport Minister Kenneth Clarke, and take effect from January 1.
For light vans, the toll will go up from 35p to 60p, for two axle goods vehicles over 30cwt, it rises from 55p to 60p, and for multi-axle lorries, from 85p to £1.
