Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THIS week's prize-winning idea comes from Mr. H. V. Griffiths, of Bollington, nr. Macclesfield, Cheshire. Take two wheel nuts, either rightor left-hand, depending on which side you want removing. Weld two pieces of 0-75-in. round steel bars to the nuts and at the opposite end run a thread of about 2 in. for the back nuts. Take a piece of R.S.J., 2 ft. 6 in. long, drill two holes at a corresponding width for opposite wheel studs. Screw the fabricated bars on to two studs, slide on the R.S.I. and fasten on with two back nuts. Fit a dolly on end of axle tube and fit a jack between the R.S.J. and the dolly and pump to extract hub. Comments Handyman: I have seen several effective versions of this, where a hydraulic jack is available that will work in the horizontal position. Not all will do this. I do feel, however, that the user would be wise to wear a good pair of safety boots, in case the whole lot breaks free and collapses on the floor.
