DURHAM-BASED haulier Hargreaves has been named Durham and Wearside company of the year.
The company, which floated on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) last November, more than doubled its turnover and profit in its latest financial year. It will now be entered for the title of North-East company of the year.
Hargreaves has expanded rapidly since a management buy-out in 2004. It plans further expansion, organically and by acquisition.
