Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• The management buyout bid at Cleveland tanker haulier Sadler Transport has been successful, despite bids from a number of UK tanker operators and European firms.

The company has been renamed Sadler Tankers and has already won a 21.5 million contract which will be announced later this week.

Managing director Phil Gate, who was part of a team of five which wanted to buy Sadler from its owner Kuwait Petroleum (GB), warned that one of the company's two depots would close and up to 65 jobs could be lost if it was sold to a competitor (CM 8-14 December 1988).

Sadler runs 93 tankers and employs 130 staff. It operates from two depots in Oldham and Thornaby.
