• Dorman Diesels' &IT V8-turbocharged automative engine has now been certified to BS AU 14 la1971, developing 330 bhp at 2200 rev /min. With a capacity of 13.3 litres the 87T is at the moment undergoing field trials while a 12-cylinder version, rated at 495 bhp, is expected to be available for field trials early in 1974. The V8 engine is the turbocharged version of Dorman's Si V8 which was first shown at the Commercial Vehicle Show at Earls Court in 1970.
