• Envec, standing for "environmental vehicles," is the new corporate name for the group comprising Dennis Brothers Ltd, Eagle Engineering Co Ltd and Yorkshire Vehicles Ltd. The three companies, all manufacturers of municipal and other, specialist vehicles have been acquired over the past 24years by Hestair Ltd and together, it is claimed, they form the largest single supplier of public cleansing vehicles for local authorities in the UK. The names of the individual companies will be retained, however, and manufacturing operations will continue at the sites at Guildford, Warwick and Leeds.
