Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I NGENIOUS collapsible gates make for easy loading and unloading from, the sides and rear of articulated vehicles being used by Friary, Holroyd and Healy's Breweries, Ltd., Guildford. The bodywork is of light alloy and was built by Locomotors, Ltd., Andover. It is mounted on a semi-trailer which is hauled by a Dennis Centaur tractor. The body weighs 12 cwt. •

A vehicle of this kind is used to transport cask beer from the Friary brewery at Guildford to the Coolpany's south-coast depot at Chichester. A shuttle service is operated with three semi-trailers. A payload of 10 tons is carried on each outward journey.

The horizontal bars of the gates are pivoted to the uprights, so that when the gates are opened the bars drop to form a parallelogram and occupy little space. This characteristic is most valuable when loading and unloading in crowded streets and at congested bays. The gates also weigh less than normal doors.
