As they neared the waiting motor coach the old lady clutched nervously at her escort's arm.
"To reassure you, my love," he said kindly, " just make inquiries. Driver, when did you last put oil on your brakes?" "I fair soused 'em this morning, sir," said the driver readily. "But don't mention it to anyone else, because the boss thinks I'm a bit extravagant with the oil."
