Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

removable bodies used for transporting waste and have been informed that these units are made in different ways, that they are either loaded on the chassis by hydraulic equipment, or by lifting them on to supportlegs to allow the chassis to be driven out, or by the use of a cable to pull the body on to the chassis.

What do you think of these types of body for use on hilly and poor road surfaces and steeply cambered surfaces?

A We published a survey (CM August 9

1968) of the types of body you mention. In general they would be suitable for use under the conditions you specify. However, we would advise you to rule out the use of demountabies with stillage legs, on the grounds that you stipulate bad surfaces and bad cambers. Both these conditions will tend to make the containers unsafe when parked and there is also the problem of loading. The type which is lowered on to the ground is obviously much easier to fill up and once it is landed cannot possibly fall over.
