• George Ewer and Co. Ltd., operator of Grey-Green and Orange Luxury coach services to the South and East coasts, announces a scheme this winter to train aspiring coach drivers and put them through the p.s.v. test. A thorough theoretical and practical training will be given, road instruction being by GreyGreen's most experienced driving staff.

Training will cover a period of 16 hours, four of which will be spent in the training room and the rest on the road.

A charge will be made, but to encourage successful cqndidates to stay with the firm this amount will be refunded if the man concerned completes a stipulated period of employment with the company after he passes the test.

A series of 11 courses will take place this winter. The course is designed not only to give candidates the driving ability, but also a comprehensive grounding of the many .other skills that contribute to make a man into a capable coach driver. These include passenger safety, passenger relations, stowing of luggage, nature of work and services carried out by the Company.
