Philip Holmes is the new sales manager for the Renault Trucks branch in Manchester. He succeeds Peter Morgan who has become fleet sales executive.

The branch has also appointed two commercial vehicle sales representatives. David Hollingshurst, formerly a member of his family's haulage business, and Derek Asquith who comes from the bodybuilding side of the business.

Clive Lambert-Beeson is joining Scania (Great Britain) as sales manager for buses and coaches in the United Kingdom. Mr Lambert-Beeson was .previously fleet sales manager at Kirby Central in Sheffield. With Scania he is responsible for marketing and sales of the Scania BR112 double-decker chassis and is based at the company's offices in Feltham, Middlesex.

Another manufacturer, Hestair Dennis, has also added to its sales team. Ken Potts, manager of Dennis' bus sales moves to become general sales manager, administration. Before joining Hestair Dennis he was with Ailsa Bus in Scotland. The new bus and truck sales manager at Hestair Dennis is Roger Heard, previously sales manager for municipal vehicles.

Simon Engineering of Dudley, manufacturer of Simon Snorkel firefighting and rescue units, has promoted Fred Abram to UK sales manager. He joined the Simon Group in 1959, moving to Simon Engineering in 1968. Before his recent promotion Mr Abram was UK field sales manager.
