The Institute, which covers affi interests in road, rail, a. d air transport, elected onal MacCuish chairman at s c nference earlier this month in Bristol.

Mr MacCuish started his career as a junior clerk with British Road Services and in 1964 was appointed assistant to the Scottish manager of British Road Ferry Services. In 1968 he moved to become freight transport officer to the Highlands and Islands Development Board, becoming head of the transport services branch in 1973.
