to raise from 30 m.p.h. to 40 the speed limit on three lengths of road across the Town Moor in Newcastle upon Tyne. , This is the first occasion on which the Minister has exercised his power to raise the speed limit on a road for which he is not the highway authority. This power is given under Section 21 of the Road Traffic Act, 1960.
