HAVING WON a further three years' funding, Driving for Better Business is looking for new champions of road safety among fleet users.
The government-backed campaign, run by RoadSafe, focuses on eliminating the 14,000 deaths and serious injuries that are sustained in work-related road traffic accidents every year.
It is calling for firms with formal safety procedures and a top-down approach to safety management to step forward as champions and spokespeople for the benefits of vehicle-related safety best practice.
Communications information officer Ed James says: "We are seeking companies of any size that can demonstrate the business case for good driver management and strong safety procedures."
