trucks to sell

Whatever you’re selling, there comes a time in the career of every budding sales executive when you have to shift the impossible. These are Laurie Dealer’s top 10 worst trucks to try to sell

Tractors with day cabs

It may have seemed a good idea at the time, but the hundreds of 4x2 Scania P90 4x2 day cabs in ‘shopping trolley’ spec through the 1990s became the perfect antithesis of ‘desirable stock’. Unless your customers are all based in the Third World, require a stretched chassis for a beavertail body or an impromptu skip wagon, selling a tractor with a day cab is tantamount to pulling teeth. No one wants them, no drivers want to drive them and they are worth nowt. These days, thankfully, it’s only petroleum companies that specify day-cab tractors in order to get an extra six litres of fuel into the tanker.
