Houghton Parkhouse builds livestock carriers of all types and sizes, but especially artic trailers and drawbars, at the rate of three a week.
To ensure that long haul (8hours plus) vehicles comply with the latest standards for livestock transportation.it uses a patented fan system that circulates clean air around the animals and monitors and controls temperatures around them (via GPS) and stores all the data.
Ramp angles are also being revised.
