Municipalities
Powered by a Perkins in-line 4.236 diesel rated at 58kW (78bhp) at 2,800rpm and 244Nm (1,80Ib ft) of torque at 1,400rpm, it is aimed at municipalities, public utilities and other shorthaul operators who, says Karrier, will benefit from a combinatin of non-hgv flexibility and operating economy.
At Tipcon
The new model was first shown in tipper form at the Tipcon exhibition last month. It is offered with a four-speed gearbox with different ratio specification for onand off-highway use.
Three versions
Three wheelbase versions are available from the 3.05m (120in) tipper chassis to two haulage chassis of 345m (136in) and 4.04m (159in). As with the other G08 models, 17.5 or 20in wheels can be specified.
