BRITISH operators have IN warned that a manufactun plate is not enough to all lorries into West Germany.
Although the 1971 Go( Vehicles (Plating and Testi] regulations require tha, vehicle be plated after c year, West German bon controls have refused entry vehicles without Departm of Transport plates.
Operators are advised to ply direct to their local test station, rather than to Goods Vehicle Centre Swansea, if they wish an ea examination to meet the G man requirement.
Testing stations, says D' will act speedily to arrar urgent appointments.
