Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

VAUXHALL Motors has added 62 specially designed van semi-trailers from Craven Tasker (Sheffield) Ltd to its Luton-based interworks 'transport fleet. Plying loads between the company's Luton, Dunstable and Ellesmere Port factories, the 40ft vans have a particularly unusual feature of hinged doors on the offside of the body which permit full side access.

The trailer design is rather special for this particular application. The fixed offside front bulkhead and rear bulkhead, manufactured from aluminium coated steel, give strength to the trailer so only a very shallow chassis is required.

On the offside, four grpfaced plywood doors each . supported by six hinges are hung from box sections at each end and from a post in the centre, all fabricated from high-tensile steel.

Vauxhall prefers hinged doors, as they have found that sliding doors can jam and not provide a good weather seal.
