1U11CHANECAL handling equipment Mof the conveyor type does not lend itself easily to being installed inside the body of a vehicle. Apart from its nature there is, too, the question of having a supply of electric current at mains voltage available to run the motor.

J. Collis and Sons, Ltd— Regent Square, London, W.C.1, needed a mobile showroom for the purpose of demonstrating its Motaveyor conveyor system, it being. •stipulated that the vehicle would have 'to Carry its own 240-volt electricity supply to run the h.p. motor with which the conveyor is equipped.

For the floor. t-in. tongued and grooved deal is used, the whole being covered with linoleum. There are two swing doors at the rear, with d folding step-board for ease of entry. Some idea of the roominess of the body may be gained from the fact that 24 people at a time can Watch a demonstration of the conveyor. Flushfitting directiOn arrows are let into the rear valence.

The Commercial Motor" understands that Campbell, Symonds and Co„ Ltd., is supplying further vehicles of a 'similar type, so successful has the first one proved,
