• Minibus magnate Harry Blundred has told Hampshire County Council to keep the £200,000 subsidy which has been granted to Blue Admiral since it took over Portsmouth Citybus. Blue Admiral does not need the money, having increased passenger traffic by 70%.
• Northern Counties should be sold by June, according to administrator Grant Thornton. It says it has an offer on the table, but will re-market the Wigan-based bodybuilder after the election.
