There'll be many old friends to say cheerio to Freddie Welch of CAV, who retires this month after 40 years in advertising and sales promotion. Typical of the combination of thoughtfulness and bright ideas which stamp the man, he's sent out a folded card, very nicely printed, with a picture of himself on the front and the single word "Exit". Inside there's a cheery goodbye message to old friends and acquaintances. Nice exit.
