AROAD traffic census is to be made on Class 1 roads in county boroughs from August 16-22. This was stated in correspondence from the Ministry of Transport read at last week's meeting of Hull Works Committee.

The census points will be the same as those used in 1938 and a daily count from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. wilt be taken. Counts will also be made from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. at points where night traffic was recorded in 1938.
