II Police have arrested two men in connection with the 11001011g of a truck containing thousands of pounds worth of Kit Kats and Quallty Street In North Yorkshire.

The robbery occurred 11pm last Wednesday (18 June) on the A1041 Camblesforth-Selby road, near the new Selby bypass roundabout. The 30-year-old truck driver was threatened by three masked men, and bundled back into his cab before being driven to Newhay Road, near Brighouse, in West Yorkshire, where the truck apparently broke down. He was then pushed into another vehicle before being released at 3am on the M62 near Warrington, Cheshire.

The thieves hooked up the stolen load to another stolen tractor and drove to an industrial estate in Skelmersdale, Lancashire. Four hours later the men were spotted by police and are now on bait

However: "The red and white Kit Kat trailer and its load are still missing," say police.
