Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Mobile computer manufacturer Psion Teklogix is launching a new transport management system aimed at larger users, based on a partnership with tracking system provider lsotrak.

The system will include a range of applications and complimentary hardware to allow users to track vehicle locations, monitor delivery progress and compare actual against planned performance in real time. it will also allow transport managers to manage driver shifts, improve driver and vehicle utilisation, reduce empty running and lower fuel costs, claims Psion. Psion Teklogix business development manager Vipul Palen says a major feature of the new managed transport system, which is based on Isotrak's existing infrastructure for collecting data, is the ability to integrate the information gathered on deliveries, vehicles and drivers into a companywide enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.

This will allow for integrated management of transport, warehousing, manufacturing and other related business areas. The system is already in use at Marks &Spencer.
