• Wincanton Engineering of Sherbome has built a new tank semi-trailer incorporating several features soon to be specified by the Milk Marketing Board for milk haulage.
The vessel contains two compartments for operation at atmospheric pressure, giving a 25,000-litre capacity. It is insulated and clad in annealed stainless steel and has a polished internal surface.
Mounting is direct on to Norde Fluidride triaxle suspension, giving an unladen weight of 6.2 tonnes. Price is just over £25,000.
