A SYMPOSIUM to discuss the first Dial-a-Ride systems to operate in Britain is to take place at Cranfield Institute of Technology on September 9-12.
The symposium, organized jointly by Ford Motor Co and the Transport and Road Research Laboratory, will consider what has been learnt from the first British systems, what is expected of the systems currently being planned and what aspects of Dial-a-Ride should receive most research attention.
