After a four-week festive break Commercial Vehicle Auctions hit the ground running with its first sale of the new year.
Sales early in the new year are generally expected to be slow. But with Christmas and New Year's Day falling at the weekend, and Charlie Wright moving out most of the old stock before Christmas. bidding at CVA was lively.
Wright admits that moving out most of the old stock was a risky move but plenty of fresh stock soon arrived.
New faces from Poland bid strongly, pushing up prices. End users were also active: one operator picked up four identical 430hp DalCF85 6x2s. al l registered in 2002.
