WELL-REGARDED Scottish haulier Robert Summers is to take delivery of two new Mercedes Act ros 2546 6x2 tractor units.
The trucks. both of which are fitted with Mega Space cabs, will he delivered to the Buckhaven. Fife-based operator at the beginning of March as part of the fleet replacement programme.
Proprietor David Summers says the firm has been running Mercedes for almost 30 years: "Reliability is one reason why we chose them, as well as the dealer backup.
"Our drivers weren't so keen ( in the older Actr( but the new ones are much better.The firm runs 30 trucks on general haulage.
