DAVID FORD, systems development director with Perkins Engines moves next month to the newly created post of director, Perkins Shrewsbury Operations.
He takes over from Peter Jackson, who has been deputy managing director of the Shrewsbury operation since Perkins acquired the business of Rolls-Royce Diesels International in March last year.
Since Mr Ford joined nine years ago he has held the posts of industrial engineering manager; manufacturing manager; project executive, North America; and Perkins business planning manager. He was-appointed to his present job in May 1983.
